Integrity you can depend on.
Don't take our word for it, hear what our clients have to say about working with us.
They were responsible for our event being the best one we’ve thrown in our 4 years. They were responsible for the directors of our organization actually getting to drink and enjoy our event (and that’s really saying something).
The thing is, we’ve run 3 consecutive events very very well ourselves. We know what we’re capable of, and our events have been great. For us to trust another company to work with us on throwing our event was a really big deal for us. However, upon meeting with Richard and seeing his team’s process and professionalism, it wasn’t that hard to trust them to do a fantastic job. And based on all the feedback from our attendees, the proof was in the pudding: Luna Park Events created an EXCEPTIONAL experience for our night.
If you are considering this team to handle your event, just remember this: rather than having to sweat and hustle to keep our event going well, I GOT TO ENJOY A GLASS OF WINE. 5 out of 5 stars.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Jackie Huba” credentials=”keynote speaker, Contributor at Forbes.com”]I have used Luna Park Events for two events and both went off beautifully. Richard Williams, the owner, is a consummate professional. No detail is missed. Putting on large scale events can be stressful but Richard puts you at ease because you know he will take care of everything. He was also great at working with various vendors and suppliers (catering, signage, etc.) and making sure they delivered on their promises. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard and Luna Park Events.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Michael Mallard” credentials=”Mallardshots Photography”]I just recently was the photographer at a wedding hosted by Luna Park Events. It is so wonderful to have everything go as planned!! I cannot say enough about Richard and his crew. They were professional, helpful, fun to be around, and (most importantly) on their game. At no point did I see the bride, or guests, looking worried as the evening unfolded. So happy to have found a planner that I can work with again and again![/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Virginia Lawrence” credentials=”PRSS, Connector Extraordinaire”]Richard is an amazing event planner. Very detailed oriented and has superior client relations. He will go far in this industry. I am very proud of him.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Christina Muller & Kyle Golden” credentials=”Co-Owners Foundation Fitness and Certified Fitness Trainer”]Richard delivered a perfect event. He is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. I am a very organized person who gets things accomplished and Richard is that too and more so that impressed me tremendously. You inevitably will be pleased and relieved.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Jackie Huba & Ben McConnell” credentials=”Founders, Society for Word of Mouth”]Richard is thoroughly organized, resourceful and thoughtful. With his help, our event ran like clockwork. Even our attendees commented on our event planner – always the sign of a great, behind-the-scenes person.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Lindsay Bixby” credentials=”Communications Manager at Skillpoint Alliance”]We hired Richard and Luna Park Events to help plan our 21st anniversary event, and I’m so thankful we did! He was extremely detail-oriented, brought good ideas to the table, and had a great eye for what we wanted in the design. The event went smoothly, and we’ve heard nothing but positive things. I’d definitely recommend Richard to help with your next event![/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Beth Krauss” credentials=”Media Relation Manager, Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau”]In our sixth year of hosting the Austin Cocktail Throwdown, we decided to hire an event planner. Richard’s services were invaluable to us as we prepared for, executed and cleaned up the event. His personal attention to detail and relationships with vendors saved us time and money. We didn’t have to spend time researching which vendors would work, or worry that we’d hire someone that would leave us hanging. In addition, on–site, Richard is a machine. He’s on top of everything, and handles sudden challenges with a level head and endless resourcefulness.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Rosina Castellanos-Puttemans and Wim Puttemans”]Our wedding day went as smoothly as we could have hoped thanks to careful planning and coordination by Richard from Luna Park Events. Richard’s expertise in the event industry and his advice throughout the planning process were essential to making it the perfect day that it turned out to be. Our event had over seven vendors, lasted eight hours, and it was held in three distinctive spaces at the same location. Richard and his team were able to successfully plan and coordinate the various aspects of our wedding at each of these spaces to ensure the comfort and aesthetics for our 150 guests. Richard also helped us stay on budget and to ensure that important vendor and event decisions were made in a timely manner. As the bride and groom, we were able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Richard and his team had everything under control.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Jonathan Shakarisaz” credentials=”Buyer / Manager at Keepers Clothing”]I would like to take a few moments and share with you my wonderful experience working with Luna Park Events and Richard Williams. My name is Jonathan Shakarisaz and I am the Buyer for Keeper’s Clothing on 6th and Congress. My store was recently presented with an offer from the Italian Trade Commission to host a week of events here in Austin, Texas. We were given very little notice and an even less amount of time to execute this production. Richard pulled together his expertise and wonderful resources and saved this event! He helped me locate an extremely talented catering staff, silent auction pieces, helped lobby for donations to the benefiting charity (Heart House Austin), and most importantly he kept everyone sane and on track for success. I believe that a large amount of this success is due solely to Richard and his wonderful network of friends who support him and whom he supports. I am honored to of had the experience working with him and look forward to the next big event Keepers Clothing will produce in conjunction with Luna Park Events. Richard is always professional, possesses excellent communication skills and is very task oriented. He always offers up suggestions to improve on existing ideas and in essence has shown me that even the most impossible task can be accomplished with enough determination… even if you only have 3 weeks to accomplish it in. HAHA! Warmest Texas Regards,[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Calvin Williams” credentials=”President, Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival”]I have had the pleasure of working with Richard Williams during the Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival (aGLIFF). I am currently the Vice-President – Board of Directors for aGLIFF, and have worked closely with Richard in his role as the Hospitality Director for the organization. Richard planned and executed many events: meet and greets for filmmakers, brunches, cocktail parties, the Opening Night Party at City Hall, Centrepiece Film Party at Art-house at the Jones Center, and Closing Night Party at the Austin Museum of Art. At each of these events, Richard worked with a diverse group of vendors and volunteers – and was able to create an amazing setting for our events. We could not have accomplished such great events, without the capable talents of Mr. Williams.
When it comes to putting together an event, it is all in the details. From the guest list, the atmosphere, to the food served, you can count on Richard to plan and execute every detail.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Cody Jones” credentials=”Front House Manager, Halcyon”]As a manager in the hectic and always booming Warehouse District in Austin, it is always important to know someone. Richard Williams began in my phonebook as simply a friend, but quickly moved into speed dial as I was introduced to his unlimited supply of savvy business tactics, great networking abilities, and most importantly-event planning. He and I have worked together for over 5 years, and he has always delivered. When I thought an event could not be more hectic, he showed time and time again a relentless level of composure and leadership, and has never had an event that I was not proud to add to my resume. I would recommend with Richard L. Williams II to anyone and always drop what I am doing when he calls when he has anything on the table. He is that much of a pleasure to work with.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Daniel Northcutt” credentials=”FRANK Restaurant Owner * Operator Transmission Entertainment & Bar Towel Productions”]My name is Daniel Northcutt, Operations Manager for Starlite Restaurant, Woodland Restaurant and Club De Ville and co-owner of Bar Towel Productions. Over my career I have worked with an incredible amount of organizer’s and festival producers. To say the least, some are definitely a little easier to work with than others. I had the grand pleasure of working closely with Richard L. Williams II for 2007’s aGLIFF (Austin Gay and lesbian International Film Festival), one of Austin’s largest film festivals. In the end, because of both Richards’ passion for this festival and his networking skills, we came on as location hosts with The Woodland and Club DeVille as well as food sponsors with The Woodland, Starlite and Lambert’s restaurants. Richard coordinated multiple parties that involved or included either our property, food or both. The overall production of the multiple parties that accompanied this event was handled impeccably, due in large part to Richard’s wonderful communication and meticulous planning. Anything that we were a part of that involved Richard was a great success and incredibly smooth on our end. That is key to a restaurants’ continued support of like projects because you have to keep in mind that while we are off property at a function, our restaurant’s still have to be in motion. In other words, if an organizer gets us involved in an event off property and does not have the smallest of details in order, it can throw a major wrench in our overall business for the night as we are trying to prepare speciality foods on top of our nightly faire. I can honestly say that in the future, if I am approached with an opportunity and have the time/resources I would go out of my way to work with Richard L. Williams II again! Thank you for your time.[/lvca_testimonial][lvca_testimonial animation=”None” author=”Dave Hime” credentials=”Director of Web Strategy & Co-founder, Go9Media”]Richard is one of the most creative, personable people I know and has the number one trait of all good event planners — he knows absolutely everybody! He worked with my company to develop and deliver our annual Bloomtini event in 2007 at Volitant Gallery and the party was fantastic.[/lvca_testimonial][/lvca_testimonials]
